Zion Church Ministries is so much more than Sunday service. We are a Bible-believing, Bible teaching church that offers biblical instruction 7 days a week. With several ministries, there’s something for everyone at ZCM. We’re only as strong as everyone working together to advance God’s kingdom. So get connected, be connected and stay connected.
Ministerial Staff- Licensed and ordained clergy responsible to preach, teach, evangelize and oversee various ministries of the Church. The current ministerial staff is comprised of: Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, Administrative Pastor, Prison Ministry Director, Marketing, Media, & Communications Director, and Women’s Ministry Director. The Ministerial Staff meets the 1st Saturday of every month.

Diaconate – The Diaconate Ministry is comprised of Deacons and Deaconesses who visit the sick-and-shut-in, the hospitalized, the bereaved and the imprisoned. They are assigned Wards, geographic areas in which congregants live, and maintain contact with individuals to ensure their welfare and well-being. They are also responsible for preparing the Communion table, assisting in Baptism, and contacting individuals who may need prayer and/or physical, spiritual or financial support. The Diaconate Ministry meets every other month on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Christian Education Ministry – The Christian Education Ministry seeks to educate and train servants of the Most High God, at every level of ministry. The ministry is responsible for making sure that instructors, materials, workshops, seminars, and opportunities exist for children, youth, young adults, mature adults, singles, couples, and the elderly to learn God’s Word and God’s business of evangelism, discipleship, study, worship and witness. The Christian Education Ministry meets every other month on the 3rd Saturday.

Evangelism Ministry – The work of the Church is to win souls for Jesus the Christ. The Evangelism ministry equips anyone with a heart to share the Gospel Message and a mind to “spread the Good News to the utmost parts of the world.” Evangelism training is designed for youth and adults, and programming centers on street outreach, community awareness and connections, as well as New Disciple training classes. The Evangelism Ministry meets the 1st Wednesday of each month.

Men’s Ministry – The Men’s Ministry focuses on activities that serve to strengthen and encourage men spiritually. Bible studies, meetings and workshops are held that address everyday challenges, issues and concerns that men face, and serve to assist in the development and implementation of support systems, events, ministry and fellowship opportunities to meet those needs. The Men’s Ministry meets the 3rd Sunday of every month during Men’s Bible Study hour.

Women’s Ministry – The Women’s Ministry focuses on providing spiritual growth and development through training, education, service and fellowship. The women are provided with a variety of activities, workshops, retreats, programming, and fun events in order to grow together, work together, and serve God together. The Women’s Ministry meets on the 1st Saturday of each month.

Youth Ministry – The Youth Ministry is comprised of youth leaders who plan activities and events to help the youth, of all ages, grow spiritually, academically, and socially. Participation in Church programming, fellowship with other local church youth, engagement in service opportunities, and bible-based education and workshops all serve to assist in helping our youth establish a solid foundation in Christ and of friendship and fellowship with one another. The Youth Ministry meets with the youth twice a month and the leadership meets monthly.

The ministry provides opportunities for adults and youth to be God’s gatekeepers, as well as provide a hospitable atmosphere for church family and visitors.  They are at God’s gates, smiling, singing, and serving all who enter the Lord’s house. The Usher Ministry meets on the 1st Saturday of each month.

Greeters Ministry – The Greeters Ministry is ready and willing, at each and every event sponsored by the Church, to provide a warm “Hello and Welcome” to all who enter the Lord’s House.
